Jullz is Brazilian and New Zealander. Jullz has a Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences - Health Promotion as well as a Personal Trainer Diploma working as personal trainer for 7 years and involved with community volunteering since 2011.

Among all the projects she has been involved, working together with Kelston community in West Auckland as a volunteer holds a warm space in her heart. At Kelston, she worked with wonderful people and got involved with Pasifika and Maori groups, working together in health & fitness and environmental projects.

Jullz has worked very closely with the community and was gifted a community award, in recognition of her many outstanding achievements and contribution to the Kelston Community.

 

 

• Why Morena ?

Jullz was born in a poor and marginalised community in Brazil and as a young girl was called Morena - meaning brunette/brown skin.

Jullz lived in New Zealand for many years and has always been in love with the country and its people. Morena is a word in Te Reo Maori meaning 'Good Morning'.

The word Morena brings elements from a shiny and happy childhood, memories, family, community and countries that are part of Jullz story. A meaningful word for herself and her business, a connection, the fitness awakening, the kindness inside our shiny souls.

Morena Fit is a tribute to her essence and her roots.

We are not just another clothing brand. Morena Fit wants to make it different, to make it better. Morena Fit beliefs and values are based on equity. As citizens of this planet, we understand that it is important to support organisations and charities that are concerned with growth and protection of individuals, specially the most vulnerable - elderly, woman and children, regardless their cultural background.

• We have one and only Planet! Environmental Sustainability. 

Our lands, seas, and forests are our treasure. Morena Fit values highly the wellbeing of the people thus the conservation of our planet .

Morena Fit is a member of the Eco Packaging Alliance. It means plenty of things, but most importantly, it's a connection to and validation of Morena Fit sustainability efforts for a more plastic free environment. The mailers we use are certified compostable and break down both in home and commercial composts leaving no harmful residues behind. 

We use a very special fabric to produce our clothing, the AMN SOUL ECO© - the world's first biodegradable polyamide 6.6 yarn, whose formula has been improved to allow clothes made with this yarn to decompose quickly after being disposed off in landfills. Also, our exclusive fabric prints were produced with eco-friendly inks EPSON UltraChromeDS® , an ink that leaves no residue behind plus it guarantees greater resistance to light, washing and perspiration. We work with the best quality and smart products. Our supplier Rosset® is the largest textile company in Latin America in the production of fabrics with Lycra® yarn. 

Not everyone chooses to use environmentally sustainable products, and we're thrilled that we made that decision for a more beautiful, healthy & happy planet.
